Branding
Mildly civilized, Bathtub Vin is a wine made to express its terroir of the Blue Ridge Mountains and all the critters that root around it. Its label was designed to be digested the same as the wine: slowly, with just enough down-home to feel like you’re on a back porch looking over the holler.
Bathtub Vin is a playful riff on the underground booze rings of prohibition. Like its predecessor, bathtub gin, it’s made the barebones way: with little winemaking intervention, full clusters of grapes and stems, and ambient fermentation.
Label Design
Bathtub Vin’s label nods to the two symbols of Shenandoah National Park and George Washington National Forest; between these protected lands is where its vineyard, Turk Mountain, sits. Bathtub Vin’s elegance speaks to the simplicity of its ingredients and winemaking style.
